2px;">清朝末年，社会动荡，民不聊生，很多福清老百姓下南洋谋生，“下南楼”的乡民当然也不例外。为了摆脱贫困，郭家先人率先经水路下南洋，抵达印尼万隆，历经艰辛站稳脚跟后，遂鼓励儿时好友曾家、刘家先人前往一同创业。在印尼万隆，他们集资创业，拧成一股绳，胼手胝足，备尝艰辛，靠睿智和毅力在布匹、家具等领域开疆拓土，开创了一番事业。</span></span></span></p><p 2px;">由于祖居遭土匪洗劫已倾覆，三家就商定合建屋宇，并从相对偏僻的“下南楼”迁移到通往福（福州）兴（兴化，即现在的莆田）泉（泉州）漳（漳州）四府的官道边上。民国二十年（1931）至二十二年（1933），郭氏、曾氏、刘氏分别建造了一座结构相同的六扇厝，建筑风格以中式为主，结合西式装饰，是当时典型的侨厝。三座六扇厝中间隔着一条长弄，各条长弄的前后均设计了一扇“高挑”的门，让三座侨厝各自独立，又“无缝”地衔接在了一起。</span></span></span></p><p 2px;">苏田三对排总长83米、宽40米、高10米，气势恢宏，坐西北朝东南，为红砖土木结构，另有长、宽各9米，高12米的3层楼防匪碉堡一座，屋前还有宽15米、长74米的大埕，一列排开的龙眼树与古厝相对而望、相守相伴。</span></span></span></p><p style="line-height: 2em;"><span leaf=""><br/></span></p><p style="line-height: 2em;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><span leaf=""><span textstyle="" style="letter-spacing: 2px;">历经近百年的风雨侵蚀与岁月磨砺，苏田三对排也是劫难重重。2010年左右，该厝曾遭盗贼光顾，丢失了部分文物。</span></span></span></p><p 2px;">如今仔细观看，苏田三对排是少见的保存良好的百年古厝，无论是主墙码放整齐有序的一米高青石勒脚，还是依然簇新亮眼的勾有白缝的红砖，以及屋檐上那直指蓝天的翘起燕尾脊，都叫人心荡神移。而建在南北两边的3层楼高的方形碉堡，更是叫人肃然起敬。</span></span></span></p><p style="line-height: 2em;"><span 2px;">走近三对排，只见长长的外墙顶部雕刻着各种飞禽走兽、海鲜蔬果，以及十二生肖等，形态各异、惟肖惟妙、栩栩如生。三座房屋的交接处有两个宽为2米的小弄，两端均有大门，便于房屋主人来往。</span></span></span></p><p style="line-height: 2em;"><span leaf=""><br/></span></p><p style="line-height: 2px;">三对排中西侧第一座郭氏民居最为典型。该民居主要由前座、正座、后座及前后天井组成，左右角建有方形三层碉楼一座，民居的右侧尚存花园遗址。民居面阔五间（六扇厝），前座明间开大门，并设屏门，进深十三檩，后有廊；正座进深十五檩，后座为单坡顶，进深六檩；前座前后厢房二楼均设有美人靠；正座明次间前部为轩廊，轩顶和大厅屏门上方木构件雕刻及各处隔扇格心制作均较精巧。除前座后廊、正座前廊、轩廊及前两廊回廊外，其他梁枋均用夯土墙承托。</span></span></span></p><p 2px;">进入三对排，只见房屋的内部结构为二进式的风格，在二进门与正厅的中间，有一天井，后厅为厨房。每座楼内都有33间房屋，合起来刚好99间，可见设计之时就经过精心安排。正厅与后厅交接处是木板隔墙，隔墙上方的两边是雕花屏风，左、中、右刻有“民国”“丁丑”“满堂春”的镂空字样。正厅的廊下左右两侧，有造型相同的雕梁画栋，有双狮戏珠、凤凰朝阳、百鸟啼春、蝴蝶双飞，以及鱼、鸟、兽、花等雕刻图案。</span></span></span></p><p
