2px;">后埔村西边的占泽洋是福清七大洋之一，洋内万亩良田。现在，占泽洋一带老百姓建造三到五层别墅，打地基都要打到20米左右的深度才会遇到稳固的石头。我也查阅了一些资料，得知南宋咸淳二年（公元1266年）以前，何山至钱塘的古代海堤尚未兴建，如今所见的占泽洋连片水田仍然是海水侵浸区域，几十年前的江阴两个盐场也是滩涂区。那时，五峰山及其南边延伸到犀塘（如今的沙塘村）的小山脉被海水三面环绕。沧海桑田，江阴岛居民为了繁衍生息，开始不断填海造田。经过数代江阴人的努力，占泽洋形成了，占泽河出现了，才有了土地肥沃，农产丰富的新局面。</span></section></section></section><section 16px;">占泽河流淌在江阴半岛南半部，从里下底水库流出，经洋门村、浔头村、何厝村，从钱塘水闸注入兴化湾。河道总长9.4公里，流域面积25.02平方公里。以前的占泽河，杂草丛生、泥沙淤积、垃圾存在于水面与河滩上。遇到台风暴雨，就形成洪涝灾害，淹没农田。近年来占泽河整治提上政府议事日程，全线清淤、截污清流、驳岸改造、景观绿化、步道建设，让占泽河旧貌换新颜。如今的河道畅流洁净，步道蜿蜓绵长、空气清新自然，景观美丽怡人，让人流连其间，感慨万千。</span></section><section 2px;">步道可以由环河、环山两条路线连接而成，可以向北延伸到岭口村龙宫峰南边的明代治河名臣翁志均纪念碑和清代“红薯知县”翁若梅进士的故居。同时连接东港西港的龙宫峰上绿树簇拥的古驿道、马鞍山明代抗倭烟墩台遗址。在古驿道的基础上修复原石步道，建设山顶观光连廊或森林公园，设置车行道和主游步道。翁颖轩写有《游岭口马鞍烟墩台有感》一诗：“守堠兵闲饱睡眠，连年不见烽火烟。河清海晏太平日，九州喜乐唐虞天。”步道附近是白居易好友鸟窠禅师、黄檗高僧鸿庥禅师、出自医学世家的民国时期江阴岛名医翁在国的出生地。占泽河生态步道依山靠水伴港城，将充满活力的港城景观与优美的山水风景相结合，把医学、宗教学相结合，由“产业滨水步道”“生态医学步道”“牧野宗教步道”“登山观光步道”四个主题步道，组成一条爬上山岭的高水平的步行通廊，为周边村民创设自然山体徒步健身场所，也是市民休闲野餐露营的理想场所。</span></section><section
